What shines and what doesn't
Fine surroundings and an really good culinary experience. The exquisite junior suite exuded luxury and offered beautiful views, and the friendly staff and delicious dining elevated the occasion.
Despite all its charm, the inconsistent housekeeping service was disappointing, leaving us feeling a bit neglected at times, along with worries about internet reliability .

Exceptionally comfortable beds and a mini-bar, climate control, and a personal safe. Stunning and favourable location just off the private garden of one of the rooms, there Bistro, and Cheval Blanc, amazing views. Outstanding food in the Michelin star rated restaurant in the vicinity.

Really enjoyed delightful and clean rooms.
I was there for 3 nights and ate at gastronomic restaurant with an extensive wine list. There were central heating, coffee and tea making facilities, and multi-channel TV. All the services were exemplary. The hotel was in the remote setting on top of the catacombs.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and were blown away by the stunning deck view of St Emilion and the incredible Michelin Star restaurant, though the lack of variety for breakfast was a slight disappointment.

Excellent service.great location and quality food/ wine. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. We experienced some noise Saturday morning from repairs to the kitchen below our room and without quibble our room bill was reduced by 30per cent.
Just a couple of very minor points. There was no hairdryer in the room and didn't appear to be a mirror near an electricity socket. I also asked for an extra glass of what I assumed was house wine at dinner and thought 20 euros for that was a little over the top!

A establishment which pays attention to minute detail. The service ranks with the best hotels in the world. The food is magnificent well deserving of it's ** Michelin rating for food. Having used this hotel for many years we have missed out in the last 3 years. The upgrading of rooms and the resiting of the restaurant adds to the favourable ambiance of the establishment

Fairly clean and wonderful place, has amazing views at the top of the town. It is in particularly good location to The Great Barn, set around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the hotel.

I stayed in a junior suite with amazing views! The spacious room was charmingly renovated, and the lovely garden walkways made for good strolls.
The decor could be described as 'vintage,' which is just a posh way of saying it needs a makeover! I lost track of time chasing WiFi around like it was the next big thing.
